Smai Tawi: Kemetic Yoga
Biweekly Saturdays at 9:30a
Service Description
Smai Tawi, meaning “union of the two lands,” is the ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) system of yoga that harmonizes the dualities within the body, mind, and spirit. This 90-minute biweekly class is rooted in slow, intentional movement, breath control, and geometric alignment, guiding you into a deeper state of balance, awareness, and inner stillness. Expect a grounded practice that emphasizes posture sequencing, controlled transitions, and meditative holds designed to activate energy pathways and support both physical strength and spiritual connection. Each session weaves together breathwork, ancient philosophy, and mindful movement to create a practice that feels both disciplined and deeply restorative. Open to all levels, this class invites you to move with purpose, breathe with intention, and reconnect with the wisdom of the body.
