This balancing pose enhances focus, stability, and core strength as the body aligns in a straight line from fingertips to lifted foot.

Even weight, active core, soft gaze.

Focus, determination, and balance

Not advised during episodes of vertigo or ankle injury.

Improves balance, strengthens core and legs.

Activates deep core stabilizers and strengthens the lower back.

Cue focus on drishti (gaze point). Offer wall support.

Shift weight to one leg. Extend torso forward and lift back leg. Reach arms ahead or alongside body. Keep hips level.

Use wall support or place foot lower on the standing leg.
